McG will will be returning in the directors chair for the fifth Terminator of the new terminator trilogy. Christian Bale as signed for all three movies so he will reprise his role as John Connor. No decision has been made as to where to film the next “Terminator,” although the Middle East was mentioned as a locale. The movie will be set to release in 2011.

I’m glad McG will be back for the fifth and I’m hoping he will be back for the last one as well. From the trailer, he looks like he has done a great job with the franchise and I’m very excited about Terminator Salvation
