First Friday the 13th Remake Pics
After releasing pictures of the movie, a teaser trailer hit the web today and the movie looks pretty good.
Samuel Jackson is set to star in the 1985 action classic Year of The Dragon. The updated plot will be along the same lines of the original.
Mickey Rourke plays Stanley White, a decorated police captain and Vietnam War veteran who is assigned to New York City’s Chinatown, which he makes his personal mission to rid of crime. John Lone plays Joey Tai, a young man who ruthlessly rises up to become the head of the Chinese triad societies, and as a result of his ambition, creates a high profile both for himself and the triads’ activities. Together, they end the uneasy truce that has existed between the triads and the police precinct. The film is an exploration of gangs, the illegal drug trade, ethnicity, racism, and stereotypes.
I’ve never seen the original, it’s something I have to watch before the remake comes out. I can’t really comment on if its a doos idea or not to make a remake of this flick, but it stars Sam Jackson !!
What do you guys think of a remake being made?? Leave us your comments below ;)
A new 5 minute trailer for the movie The Day The Earth Stood Still is now online and can be viewed below. The movie looks pretty awesome, when the first video’s came out I wasn’t sure but this video sold me to it.
Let me start off by saying that I don’t believe that this is true. Bang Media claims Christian Bale will play Dr. Strange, their source tells them a deal could be made within weeks, locking Bale up for the part. Dr. Strange is a marvel superhero based on a comic book about a scientist turned sorcerer.
These rumors are coming out because Christopher Nolan is still unsure about a third Batman movie (which I will do a post about later on today). The facts remain that Bale is Batman in today’s Comic book world, even if it’s DC comics.
What do you guys think about this rumor?? Post your comments.
A japanese TV station aired a very small clip of the new live action Dragon Ball Movie.
With the Return of Xander Cage, which is the title for the new xXx movie (xXx: The Return of Xander Cage), the movie will be released in summer 2010 said director Rob Cohen.
“Yes, they’re doing it with me and producer Joe Roth”, the “Mummy : Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” director tells the site. “We made the deal recently, it’s named xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. We met the writers yesterday and we’re trying to get into production by late spring, to have it out for the summer of 2010.”
With DIesel’s carreer going downhill, he’s going back to his 5 minute fame with a new Fast and Furious and xXx. I’m not excited about the movie but I will go see it because i thought the first one was an OK movie.
Now it’s official, Iron Man will the in the Avengers movie, also with Jon Favreau as an executive producer and Don Cheadle as Rhodey. Downey as also signed to do a third sequel to the Iron Man franchise.
More Avengers news, rumor was going around the net about The Hulk being the bad guy. Looks like Hulk is going to be part of the lineup with Iron Man, Thor and Captain America. There’s still no word on who will be the bad guy.
“The Avengers”, will be released July 15, 2011.
This is no joke, the trailer for the Grudge 3 will leave you speechless, not in a good way. This movie looks so terrible that it’s making it hard to find the right words to say how terrible it is. Even if it’s a Direct to DVD doesnt mean it should be made !!
What do you guys think of the trailer??
I know this is a movie blog and that 24 is a TV show but because of last year’s writers strike, season seven was postponed for 2009. The producers decided to make prequel TV movie between the end of season 6 and the beginning of season 7.
